cough have broken out. The children and the old are the worst sufferers.

I, on behalf of the inhabitants of Chandina,
like to bring to your kind notice that we have been suffering greatly for want
of drinking water for a long time. Though we are about three thousand
inhabitants, we have only two tube-wells. The great irony of fate is that these
two tube-wells are affected by arsenic. Many people have been affected by arsenics.
Some of them are admitted in the Upozilla Health Complex. So, it is both
difficult and dangerous for us to collect drinking water from them.
In the above circumstances, I pray and
hope that you would be kind enough to sink more tube-wells immediately in
convenient places of our locality and help them to get rid of arsenics and want
of drinking water.

necessary.
